October 9, 2020 – The Provincial Government announced targeted restrictions for Ottawa, Toronto and Peel regions due to their higher transmission rates of Covid-19. Effective Saturday, October 10, 2020 the city will close a number of businesses and facilities for the next 28 days and subject to review. Gatherings are limited to 10 people inside and 25 outside. Further, you are asked to limit your outside travels to essential services such as food, docotrs appointments and work, if you cannot work from home. Affected businesses include: restaurants, bars, gyms, casinos, bingo halls, cinemas, exhibits, museums, galleries and personal care services. Limits are also imposed on teams sports with no games or scrimmages, only training.
