How To Become An Electrician
An apprenticeship is a pathway to a rewarding career in the trades. As an apprentice, you take classes and learn your trade by working under the direction of experienced workers – and get paid while you do it.
It takes between two and five years to complete an apprenticeship. Once you’re done, you get a Certificate of Apprenticeship that allows you to go for the next level of certification so you can get better pay and more jobs.
Trades are regulated by the Ontario College of Trades.
