OTTAWA ENTERS STAGE 3

The provincial government announced that as of Friday, July 17th at midnight, Ottawa will officially enter Stage 3 of the reopening framework.  This includes the expansion of personal gatherings from 10 up to 50 people indoors and 100 people outdoors.  Restaurants, gyms, movie theatres live shows, festivals, sporting activities,  open houses, casinos, bath houses  and more will now re-open.  Remember to maintain social distancing, wash your hands and wear a mask when inside to ensure we continue to keep this pandemic at bay. Quantifying the Impact

July 06, 2020 – ELECTRI-INTERNATION, is a research and education  group for the electrical construction industry. They have just finished a report on the impact of Covid-19 on construction productivity.  This is an excellent report to reference when costing Change Orders or the overall cost to contractors due to this pandemic. “Early measurements of the impact of this pandemic suggest that construction productivity has been impacted by nearly 20%.” It is vital to consider this when bidding on work going forward.
