Ottawa’s Electrical Contractors Association (Ottawa ECA) was founded in 1964 as a not-for-profit association.  Ottawa’s ECA is the voice of nearly to 200 electrical contractors engaged in the industrial, commercial, institutional, residential and service markets in the Greater Ottawa Area. 

As one of 11 regional associations that make up the Electrical Contractors’ Association of Ontario (ECAO), Ottawa’s ECA speaks on behalf of its members on issues regarding electrical contracting, construction legislation, health and safety policies, education, government relations, labour relations and the development of industry standards and best practices.

 It is the mission of Ottawa’s ECA is to serve, promote, and improve the electrical contracting industry while ensuring the health and safety of every one of our members and their employees, in the greater Ottawa area.
