Course 1 and 2 Include – Estimating Fundamentals, Detailed Take Off, Phases of a Job, Layout & Estimating, Pricing, Laboring, Summarizing, Miscellaneous Costing and an Introduction to Computer Estimating.
Course 1 includes the role of the estimator, methods of estimating, estimating tools, pricing, drawing reviews, measuring, forms, fixtures, distribution, material lists, summarizing and the advantages of computerized estimation, among other topics.
Course 2 covers a review of estimating fundaments amd detailed take offs. It then expands into fire alarms, service and distribution panels, removing existing service, motors and controls, labour costs, expenses, subcontracts, markup, profit, job closing, extras, vehicle costs, hourly charge out rates, unit pricing and more.
