Ottawa ECA is proud to team up with SP Safety Solutions to deliver world-class First Aid, CPR, and AED training. These essential courses will be held on March 10 & 11th, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the OECA office located at 86 Greenfield Ave.
Why is this training important?
In emergency situations, timely and effective response can save lives. Our comprehensive courses focus on injuries and materials typically encountered on construction sites, emphasizing the crucial role of first aid, CPR, and AED use. Participants will learn how to provide immediate care, prevent further injury, and support recovery until professional medical help arrives.
What’s included in the training?
- First Aid and CPR certification, tailored for construction environments
- AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation—an essential skill that can dramatically improve survival rates during cardiac emergencies
- Overview of the Ministry of Labour’s role in accident scene management and reporting requirements
