October 20 & 21, 2025 – This immersive workshop focuses on mastering the closeout phase of construction projects—one of the most critical stages in the project lifecycle. Closeout ensures that all required submittals are delivered to the owner and the project is successfully handed over to the client or end user. Participants will gain comprehensive insights, strategies, and best practices for managing the process with efficiency and excellence.

The session will highlight the importance of early organization, effective teamwork, and clear communication in achieving a smooth project turnover. A well-managed closeout not only builds strong client relationships but can also lead to future business opportunities and timely payment. Beyond compiling closeout submittals, the workshop will cover how to execute a professional and complete handover. With the CCDC2 2020 now including “Ready for Take-over,” contractors must clearly understand their roles and responsibilities. Participants will learn how to navigate this updated framework and apply proven methods for a thorough and efficient turnover process.
