Join ECAO for a webinar hosted by Certifire on the ULC-S-524: Installation of Fire Alarm System, scheduled for February 19, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (EST). This virtual session is presented by Mark Steane of Certi-Fire.

This webinar will delve into the CAN/ULC-S524 standard, outlining the design and installation requirements for fire alarm systems with or without voice communication capabilities. Attendees will learn how to properly install and interconnect fire alarm devices in accordance with CAN/ULC national standards, ensuring occupant safety, system reliability, and compliance with the National Building Code of Canada.

The 3-hour session includes a Q&A segment, and all modules will be available online, with recordings accessible to registered participants.

Who should attend?

Members who have previously completed Certi-Fire, are currently enrolled, or plan to undertake it in the winter term.
