Contract management is where revenue is protected or lost. A missed notice, a poorly priced variation, or a time claim handled wrong can cost you thousands.

This workshop shows you the order that protects you: notice first, prove entitlement, then price. You’ll learn to use AI to draft notices the moment something changes, build variations from contract rates, handle time claims without double-counting, and run back-to-back checks so you never carry a risk you can’t recover.

Why this matters: Every change on site is a potential revenue loss — or gain. This workshop gives you a clear process to protect what you’re owed.

You will learn how to:

  • Draft the right notice to the general contractor or client the moment something changes on site
  • Build a variation with the entitlement case first, then price it off the rates already in your contract — notice first, prove entitlement, then price
  • Handle time claims and extensions of time properly, without double-counting
  • Run the back-to-back check so you never carry a risk down to your own suppliers or labour that you cannot recover from above

Intended  Audience: Project managers, owners, contract administrators, and operations leads who have some familiarity with AI and want to use it to support contract management and revenue protection. While it’s strongly recommended that you attend Session 1: Data That Actually Works, if you missed it, you can access the recording in ECAO’s Learning Centre.
