This year’s ECA Ottawa Golf Tournament was a tremendous success! Despite the intense heat, the sold out events was a fantastic day filled with fun, great company, and memorable moments on the course. A big thank you to all our sponsors, on-course entertainers, and everyone who came out to play and support the event and our efforts to fundraise for CHEO!

The Ottawa ECA is proud to release the 2025 Change Order Guide. It is designed for our electrical contractor members when considering the cost of a manhour of electrical labour. This Guide will assist in pricing change orders or additional work orders on fixed price contracts. It’s available on the website under the the Information tab.

more than half of the Ottawa ECA membership met at the Mill Street Brew Pub on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 for our annual spring meeting. After a Board Meeting, reception and dinner, Chairman Roch Picknell went through the local and provincial bargaining results in detail. This was followed by our new “Safety Minute” presentation by Board Member Audrey Kroon Lowther. Thanks to everyone who participated and enjoy your summer.

The Ottawa ECA invites all members and senior staff to attend our Summer All-Members Meeting on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Mill Street Brew Pub, located at 555 Wellington Street. The evening begins with a reception at 5:00 PM, followed by dinner at 6:00 PM. After dinner, our Chairman, Roch Picknell, will provide an update on the outcomes of both local and provincial bargaining. The Ottawa ECA’s Annual Golf Tournament at Loch March Golf Club isonce again sold out. It’s scheduled for Tueday, July 15 and everyone is looking forward to another amazing day on the links.
