AI Tools for Construction Workflows July 28 -29

Join Curtek for this practical, hands-on course which  teaches construction office staff how to use AI tools such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot to improve productivity, accuracy, and decision-making. Participants will learn how to apply AI to everyday construction management tasks, including document creation, specification review, communications, RFIs, submittals, and project coordination. The course also addresses privacy considerations and best practices to help users confidently and responsibly integrate AI into their workflows.

Intended Audience:
This course is designed for construction professionals, including project coordinators, project managers, estimators, contract administrators, and office staff involved in documentation, specifications, RFIs, submittals, scheduling, reporting, and client communications. It is ideal for anyone looking to save time, reduce repetitive work, and improve the quality of project deliverables through practical AI applications.

Prerequisites: 
No formal prerequisites are required
Participants should have experience working in a construction office environment
Access to a laptop with internet connection
Access to Claude (free accounts work), and Microsoft Excel with Copilot.

Payment Information:
Payment is due to Curtek at the time of registration. After completing the course, submit the proof of payment and OECA will reimburse the course cost.

 

THE VENUE
The training will be held in an online Zoom meeting. Details will be provided 48 hours before the first session.
Recommended Computer Setup
You will need TWO screens for the training to be effective.
The first screen needs to be a Windows computer with Bluebeam Revu 2020 installed.
The second screen is to display the Zoom meeting. This could be a second monitor, a larger tablet (9″ +) or a smart phone displayed on to a TV.

Bluebeam Revu Requirements
You will need a fully functioning version of Bluebeam Revu 2020. Any Windows version is ok (Standard, CAD, or eXtreme). The Mac version will not work. If you have an older version, you can download a 2020 trial and install it ‘side by side’ your existing install. This will allow you to continue to use your older version without losing your license and you can use the new version to follow along in the training.
